To initiate a return, please read the policy below first and then log in to your account using the icon in the upper right hand corner of our website. Once there, find the order containing the item(s) you wish to return and click "Request Return". If your items are eligible for return (i.e. your order is within the 21 day return window and the item is not marked "final sale"), you will be able to initiate your return. Once your return is approved, you will receive an email with further instructions.

DOTTIR RETURN POLICY

Returns/exchanges are accepted (on unworn items with the tags intact) as long as they're initiated within 21 days of placing your order. Please mail back your returns within a week of receiving your return authorization. 

Gift cards and items marked "FINAL SALE" are not eligible for returns or exchanges.  Purchases made during some sitewide sales may be final sale or only be eligible for store credit or exchange. Please make sure to read the fine print on our promotional material when purchasing during a sitewide sale. 

RETURNS

To initiate a return, log in to your account using the icon in the upper right hand corner of the website. Once there, find the order containing the item(s) you wish to return and click "Request Return". If your items are eligible for return (i.e. your order is within the 21 day return window and the item is not marked "final sale"), you will then be able to initiate your return. If you'd rather drop your return off than be sent a prepaid shipping label, please include that in the "note" section under the return reason dropdown. If you are mailing back your return, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you do not have an account at www.dottir.com and wish to make a return, please email hello@dottir.shop with your order number, item you wish to return, and whether you prefer a prepaid shipping label or to mail the return back yourself.

After receiving your return, we will inspect the item(s) for any sign of wear or use, and issue any refunds to the form of payment used on the order being returned. If an item is not found to be in returnable condition, we will reach out to you with your options. All returns are processed within 1-2 business days of receiving them. Any shipping charges on your original order are non-refundable. You will receive an email confirmation after your return has been processed.

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color, we recommend purchasing the desired item immediately since we only carry small quantities of each item. You can then return the item you don't want to keep by requesting a return in the "Orders" section of your account. If you do not have an account at www.dottir.com and wish to make a return, please email hello@dottir.shop with your order number, item you wish to return, and whether you prefer a prepaid shipping label or to mail the return back yourself. 

If you are local to Richmond, you can easily exchange something for a different size/color using our local pickup option. Email hello@dottir.shop to initiate a local pickup exchange. 

DAMAGES/ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
